Henry Autograph Collection

Pooja and Nitin’s wedding at The Henry Autograph Collection in Dearborn was a whirlwind of color and tradition. Pooja started her day at 7am, with her wedding dress perfectly highlighting her henna by Ekta Kansara. By 9am, we were outside for the baraat, capturing Nitin’s grand entrance on horseback. The main ballroom at The Henry set the stage for their beautiful ceremony, followed by photos under the mandap and around the venue’s grounds.

After a quick hair and makeup touch-up, we transitioned to the reception. The ballroom shone with decor by Bellsario and Colonial Events. Friends and family gave heartfelt speeches, heightening the emotional atmosphere. DJ Sandeep had everyone dancing, making it a memorable night. Our planning experience was smooth sailing, thanks to the expertise of our wedding planner, Rajul Pillai from Blissful Weddings and Events. Hiring a professional made all the difference, ensuring every detail was taken care of and allowing us to enjoy the process stress-free.

Our wedding embraced tradition and cultural elements, evident in our attire and decor. During the ceremony, Nitin’s scarf and my dress were tied together to symbolize the union of our souls. We incorporated a Mangala Sutra, a black beaded necklace with a gold pendant, to represent the bonding of our souls for 100 years. Our ceremony outfits featured traditional red and gold colors, but we infused a modern touch by decorating the mandap in pink and white. Ekta Kansara created a stunning mehndi design, with intricate architectural patterns that covered both my arms and legs up to my elbows. The detailed work required about 5 hours to complete.

We’ve got the inside scoop on some amazing vendors that made our day extra special!

Rosy & Shaun wedding photographers nailed it, making the process a breeze. DJ Sandeep amped up the party with foam sticks and an LED dance floor. For flawless makeup, Amani Mokdad has you covered. Ekta Kansara’s mehndi designs added a beautiful touch. Bellsario’s florals turned our venue into a paradise. Colonial Events provided stunning backdrops for all events. For linens and invites, check out Modern Art in Clawson. Sweet Dreams crafted delicious cakes and pastries everyone loved.
